Think I can probably guess the answer but just to be sure.

My recently purchased +4 is fitted with chrome wheels which are just showing signs of rust.

I'm not a great fan of chrome wheels anyway plus the original car had red wires fitted.

So....can you get chromed wheels prepped and sprayed/powder coated? Or is it a case of changing a set? Or is the botheration and cost of doing the former mean it's easier to do the latter?

I would buy a new set. Otherwise I expect the cost & bother would be more than new ones

Just a thought, a nice new painted set with new rubber and keep your chrome wires for winter use.....however I am an expert at spending others money. ;-)

Had a similar issue. I treated myself to a set of stainless steel wire wheels. They do look good and no more rust problems. A bit expensive just don't tell SWMBO 👍

Yes I changed from pinted to stainless & agree they look great.
You can't take it with you and now you can save even less for a pension so why not splurge?

Looking to replace mines too as they are getting rustier everyday. Stickers on them say they are MWS, are they still good suppliers? I see on their website I could get them in chrome, stainless steel or painted grey.... I supposed I could order them in a specific colour too?
Thanks

MWS supply wire wheels directly to the factory for new Morgans.
