Out to Axminster to pick up train tickets to London for job interview next Tuesday. Roof off and wind in hair, sun on face, magic, a gentle bumble 40-60mph, but some fun bends. Followed a young lady on the way there in red MX5 with roof off, white Audi bath tub roof off passed going other way.
When I came back from the bank to the car park as a couple came over and asked what engines it got and said it LRR was lovely, and then a gent came over and asked if he could have a looked, chatted with him briefly as needed to get back.
Red 911 roof off a fews cars up ahead on the way back.
Roof off day.

Buggered Off, to a modern none leaky car, heart's still ticking
Drove my Roadster out into the drive to enjoy the spring sunshine and give it a good check over. Discovered mice have been having a party in it! . Luckily apart from a small bit of seat foam they took a fancy to a towel in there. Their days are numbered!
Jays Former Morgan owner. Gone but hopefully not forgotten!
Went via Crianlarich to the burger van just before Glen Ogle. Back through Glen Ogle, Turn just before Callander past Loch Venachar, through the Duke's Pass. through Aberfoyle, Gartmore, Balfron, Gartocharn and home. Smashing day, not the same without Jess.
PS Was that you I saw, Mutley? Just before Balloch.
A lovely run out this afternoon through all the Back lanes of Cheshire over towards Llangollen & up the Panorama Road to a Worlds End over looking the valley. Absolutely stunning. When you all come to Mog15 you're in for a treat with the scenic drives.
Then cut from Minerva heading to Llangollen. Had a lucky escape. Was behind a car trundling along slowly on the road towards the Ponderosa to go down the Horseshoe Pass & there was a long section of road I could see ahead. Was considering overtaking it but decided not to & just as well. Some T*t driving a white 911 suddenly came around the corner & shot past us covering that long section of road I could see in a nano second. The sound of his engine was deafening & by the amount of sound I think his speed was possibly between 130-140mph. Had we overtaken that car we would have been hit head on by him & there would have been nothing left of us or the car.
After that a nice amble down the Horseshoe & back via dinner at The Cholmondley arms on the A49.

I now have an ultrasonic pest repellant in the garage. The humane trap in the corner of the garden though is consistently catching multiples. Three weeks ago we got seven, all from one litter by the look of it. They are now owl food in the woods.
