For the first time since 2012 I can hear the noise from the valves. According to my opinion the exhaust sound in my 2014 is way too low.

She's number 48.

Meant to say earlier, as something of a technophobe, this is the first forum I have ever joined, and this morning was my first post. Not quite the dinosaur I thought I was.

Incidentally, a great arena for sharing thoughts and views, as you all already know I'm sure. My eyes have been opened.......only slightly marred by the engine warning light coming on as I was enjoying the spring sunshine earlier. Another call to the dealer beckons first thing tomorrow.

Just filled up with fuel..?

Too much go-juice fills the neck too high & causes engine management light to come on. Clears itself after a while, but as it's new, take it in for them to have a butchers..

Funnily enough no, filled up over a hundred miles ago, but was re reading that bit in the book.
Light has now gone off.
Anyone else had intermittent engine warning light issues ?

I have recently had permanently on engine light issues.
Resolved by my dealer using mojo.

Hi Stantheman, Brooklands #33 here! thumbs

Only had the engine warning light once, and it was clearly because I had filled up a bit too much, and the engine stuttered a bit. It all came good quickly, and I never made that mistake again.

On the specific Brooklands model issue (exhausts) have to say my 3rd gen ones are holding nicely. Then again, I'm roughly 4000 kms in, and just 1000 with these.

Hello Mario,

The exhaust, along with the Bluemels wheel were what sold the car to me originally. My car was delayed, and delayed again whilst the factory were waiting for the improved spec exhausts to come through. I had only rumour of the various issues the cars were suffering to go on.

You can see how first reading Peter Dron's superb book, and as a consequence finding this forum has been such an eye-opener.

We can all suffer/enjoy the agonies/ecstasies together.

Enjoy #33...... and good luck with those exhausts.

Hi nippymog,

With regard to the warning light, it came on just as I was taking delivery back in November but the laptop showed no error code was logged. It went out and all has been well until now, typically until just after the first service. It runs as sweetly as can be expected and my dealer has said to keep an eye on it for now. He has had previous experience with customers having intermittent warnings, but with no apparent detrimental effect.

Now for the bit where I probably make a fool of myself. In this context I have no idea what mojo means. Am I missing the point ?

If you have never had a mojo, you will probably not notice its absence. But if you do have one, try not to lose it. I hope that makes it clear.

Hi stanthman
Apologies for the the rather tongue in cheek comment.
It was meant to cover the fact 'they dont really know' what happened regarding the light , but its all good now !
