Thanks, we live in Rake - in West Sussex for paying council tax, but Hampshire postal address and Petersfield has the nearest Waitrose.
I'll investigate SOGMOG.
Mark Have a look at the Brighton Centre (SEXMOG) too as they're the recognised centre for West Sussex. As others have already said, Brands Hatch Morgans provide an excellent service and are probably the nearest to where you live. .

Paul, Thanks. I will be applying to join the MSCC. The car is from Life's. Life Motors Its comforting to hear they have a good reputation, but slightly concerning that the car is still for sale even after they've acknowledged receipt of my money

I understand that they do tours of the showroom. I dont know whether you have to pretend to have the wherewithal to be seriously interested or not. I'm always wary when there isn't a price tag....

Welcome to TM and the world of Morgan Mark. I happily drive down from North Worcs to get my car serviced at Williams but if you go on the MMC website you'll find a list of dealers and some a bit closer to you.

I know them well, It just takes them time to update the website as they are a small team and busy. Its not as though anyone can buy it on line - all inquiries have to come through David I saw your car at the beginning of last week when I was having my new exhaust and manifold fitted. Very tidy for it's age - Corsa Red and black trim looks great on 4 seaters (but I would say that wouldn't I)

I'm not in the least worried, really. Dave said to me on the phone when we discussed buying it unseen "If you don't like it we'll give you your money back" and I get the sense that Morgan dealers attach a lot of importance to their reputation.
Over the course of four conversations with three different people I got the same story about the background of the car and the delivery trip from Malvern and it didnt sound rehearsed. I wouldn't make investments on behalf of the company I work for on this basis, so I'll be a bit nervous until I see it for real.

Closer than Williams you will also find New Elms in Dorset.
Not a franchised dealer, but they know Morgans - Tim competes with a +8 and Darren, Chief spanner man, might one day get the time to finish building his special.
Don't know whether they are closer to you than BHM...

Welcome Mark,
We seem to be at a similar stage in our lives...married a year before. I took the plunge in 2013 and it is been enormous fun.
Most of what you need to know has been said, but I'll add a vote for "LogMog", the Centre that operates in and about the New Forest area. A great and very active bunch.
I'm just south of Salisbury, more than happy to find an excuse for a run over to "talk morgan" in the real world, rather than the virtual world.
And yes, New Elms are a great bunch and Tim and Chrissy are active menbers of LogMog.

Welcome Mark living in Kent I use BHM on my first annual service I watched and helped Jamie do it! So have learnt a lot already about the car?

Perhaps I should learn to service it myself, especially when I have more time.
Welcome to Morgan ownership! Kent engined 4/4s are simplicity itself to service and well within the capabilities of most home mechanics.
