Out on the Cairn O'Mount road again today, had been planning on getting further afield but work got in the way. Stopped off in Stonehaven for food at the Marine Hotel down by the harbour then set off up the main road to Aberdeen only to get stuck in a very fresh and rapidly growing tailback due to a tanker fire. Over an hour stationary before getting turned round and getting off the dual carriageway the wrong way down a slip road. Now warming up with some Talisker 57° North. All is now well with the world.
Beautiful weather again today so a blast was had up Donside, over the Lecht, round by Glenlivet, Dufftown and Cabrach and back through Alford to Aberdeen. Hardly any traffic till the Friday rush hour trundle back in to town. First use of sun block this year!
