Bought an Aero 8 Series 1 (2002) a year ago and noticed it doesnt have a "Morgan" badge above the grill. Is this normal or has it been swiped in the past!!!
Other than that what a brilliant car- strange also that I drive a Landrover Defender like a lot of the posters on here. Great site and have learned a lot from the Forum already

Welcome Taffy.

I have an early S1 & like yours its badgeless, the factory confirmed one was never fitted. Quite a few I’ve seen haven’t, I quite like it without.

When my Series I was produced in 2002 they had not developed the correct wings for the Aero, but when I picked it up from the factory they said that it would be fitted FOC at the first service and it was. thumbs

I know other people at the time, who also had them fitted by their Dealers on the same FOC basis, but obviously not everyone was made aware that this facility was possible when the badge became available. So it looks as though your car and others, slipped through the net - badgeless. smile

Maybe you should discuss the issue with your Dealer? coffee innocent

a belated thank-you for the quick response. It does get a bit frustrating when you get comments on "it is some sort of kit car!!) though.
