I'm renewing this year, but if nothing changes that will be the last time. After 35 years I am afraid it's the same for me. I have just renewed. Received Miscellany today and it's packed with articles but after skimming through, I just don't feel the urge to go back and read it.

I have renewed but it will be my last year unless changes take place and the club is run for the benefit of members and not, sadly I can not think of another explanation, as an income generator in order to fund the expenses of a few who seem to thrive on attending meetings.

I left the club in 1979 when we emigrated, seeing that I finally have the car of my dreams and sensing the wind of change in the air it seems appropriate to rejoin, at least for a year.
