The difference in vehicle excise duty in the UK is currently £180 -vs- £490, so a Roadster 3.7 costs £310 per annum more than a Plus 4. In isolation that doesn't seam so bad bearing in mind the considerable difference in performance.
Would I be correct in thinking that servicing costs would be similar?

A good reason to keep the 1999 +8. Tax £230.

Totally different cars the plus 4 and the 3.7 ! You have to rev the plus 4 to get the acceleration and change gear as well ! That's why they are so much fun !
Geneva 2016 plus 8' The Green Godess' 4 side exits .
