I'm looking to trade my Plus 4 for a Roadster. Definitely need more power! Bell & Colvill in Surrey will be selling my Roadster (I bought a +8), I'm not sure what they're going to sell it for, but it should be a bargain as it has every extra known to man. It was also rather well looked after. Just a thought.

Neilda - I'm hoping they post more pics of your 3.7 than their other Mogs on their website, as well as a comprehensive spec sheet. Your 3.7 is my ideal spec(as I know it) and would love to have it as a reference when the time comes to order my own!

Hello All. after computing all your advice i have agreed on a deal with Russell Paterson in Perth on a new roadster brooklands, now the good bit is the drive from essex to perth for the change over , i have bought my last 3 morgans from russell so have done the journey before which takes approx 9.5 hours following the M1 , M6 etc to glasgow then head east to perth, not a bad route but i like the look of A1 towards newcastle, Northumberland national park or through berwick on tweed, has anyone travelled this route , do you know if its likely (lads) to take twice as long , bearing in mind i will be taking my 10 year old daughter. thanks. Alan.

I think the A1 is much nicer than the M6/A74M. It has improved drastically in the past few years and there is a lot more 3-lane stuff. I'm not sure how the timing would differ but I don't think there would be much difference.
Just Googled it and they say there is a difference of 4 miles and 16 minutes

Alan, I'd take the A1 over the M1/M6/A74 every time. Used to do that run when Mum and Dad lived in Aberdeen. From Chelmsford Google reckons less than 8 hours driving.. Also far more places to stop. Peter

Don't use the A1 north of Newcastle. Take the A696/A68 to Ponteland, Jedburgh and Edinburgh. The A1 is mainly single carriageway and carries more traffic. There are several speed cameras on the A68 north of the border and two ( I think) on the A696/A68 on the south side. You could call at Aero Leathers at Galashiels and get a Horsehide Jacket.
