One of the first things I did was change out the stock stamped steel rocker arms on my 3 Wheeler. It never makes sense to me how you can have an engine with a roller cam but have no roller rockers.

With the prices that S&S and Morgan get for their products, I was surprised to see a picture of stamped rockers on the cylinder head. Roller rockers are prettier but given the rpm range I wonder if they'll make much difference. On the other hand, years ago the hold-down nut worked loose on a stamped rocker in one of my first cars--with disastrous results.
The stamped rockers will be perfectly functional and cost effective for S & S. However I agree the roller rocker solution is a great upgrade. Reminds me of my Cooper S days when a set of roller rockers was a must have.
The roller rockers come as a kit with new studs, push rods, and the rockers. There is no lash setting and a new lifter preload setting is given with the kit. You do have to "machine" the push rod hole in the cylinder head casting because the geometry is a little different with the bigger rockers.

----and I like the "real" hood belt Also I also think its always better to have a rocker "roll" across the valve stem than "rub" it no matter what the rpms are
