If it worries you too much, you could always put back one of the longer bolts that Morgan delivers the car with. Mine was delivered as non-removable as the longer bolts stop the quick release from pulling up enough. I had to replace the bolts with shorter ones enabling the quick release to operate.

My insurance broker says that Morgans are very rarely stolen. Thieves like Range rovers & the like.

I just stick my car in my pocket and walk around with it.
Only little issue I had was with a mother encouraging her little boy aged about 3 to stand on the exhaust to take a look inside. I explained to her that it was hot and might burn her precious little annoying child. But I think I did it nicely(ish).

So far I have left the wheel on the car, trusting nobody knows how easy is to just ... take it.
What would you do?
I'd use this my original 1970s CrookLock: it hooks over the steering wheel rim and clutch or brake pedal and locks them together. Not that secure, as it takes about 2 mins for a knowlesgeable thief to defeat it, but more than enough to deter the casual steering wheel thief... I'm keeping mine for my M3W I was going to post a link but despite a good search I can't find the device on the web...

The word "crooklock" is new to me but by your description I think you mean this. I used to have one when I was young and my car was a Fiat Uno

You can also use a bike cable through the wire wheel and threaded through the frame. I usually remove the steering wheel. I also made a walnut sleeve to slide over the steering wheel hub to keep the grease off my pants. I have never (while I was watching) seen anyone actually touch anything. Usually if parked in a crowd I hang a sigh on the engine saying HOT. I think also a alot of people have worn out their cellphones. Oh, and I always button up the tonneau when I leave it.

I have the Toad. Insurance company were not bothered as people don't steal them it seems. There isn't much you can do if they winch it into a truck.

Indeed it is... Spelt "Krooklok...." which is why I couldn't find it. Mine dates from the early 1970s... I think the company that made them is no longer in business: car security has improved a bit, even for Morgan. But sometimes available for a token amount on Ebay... Krooklok Perfect to keep the M3W steering wheel safe from people like this !
