Bought my first Morgan in 1978 for £2,500 from the London agent Morris Stapleton. I traded in my MGB which was valued at £100!!
Used a Morgan as my daily transport since then - the last one and my current Mog from new. Aside from a brief flirtation with a +8 ( the original type) I've always had a 4/4.

I started obsessing in around 1990, saved up enough by 2000, when I bought my first and only Morgan, which I've had for 15 years and around 60k miles

About as long as the present Mrs Jenks: met her in Worcester and she took me to the factory to take a look, this was 1975.
That lit the flames...married in 1977 but the flicker that was "I needa Morgan" burned, often very dimly, through the years of career, family, everything. Then the M3W was announced...the flame started to burn bright but after looking I wasn't sure.
In 2013 I had to give up riding bikes, the other obsession.
Mrs Jenks suggested we try a Morgan: a weekend thanks to Richard Thorn and the flame exploded...it hasn't stopped. We bought Aldermog and now moved up, up and away with Tarka.
But I still have an obsession with a M3W......

Have always dreamed of having one , had a ride in one a few years ago at the NEC classic car show and loved that view which is very special , only just got one but plenty of time to enjoy !

Bought my first Morgan, a 1934 F4 3-wheeler in August 1968, just turned 19yrs and earning good money in a holiday job at the RTZ smelting works at Avonmouth, Bristol. Owned and competed in 3-wheelers ever since. One foot in the 4-wheeler world since 2008 with a 1954 Plus 4. As with Andy, my wife came on the scene after Morgans were firmly embedded. She passengers me and my daughter's partner Tom at hill climbs.
I'll be at Williams open day this Saturday with my 1930/34 2 speed Matchless powered 3-wheeler racer in the display. Let's hope the lovely weather holds.

I guess my interest was sparked when Charlie Curtis test drove each new car along the Lower Howsell Road in Malvern, where I lived from the age of 3 to 13.
I bought my first +4 wreck in 1968 , and have had at least one Morgan ever since. My misses came long much later, so she knows her place in the pecking order
It has been almost a lifelong obsession. Hi Andy, does Jo read TM or should I just print your reply off and post it?.......  Ahem, not at the minute. Any post with your handwriting on it will be quickly seized upon by me. I will write left handed then ;-)

I bought my first Mog after passing my driving test in 1965 for £90 reg (DRY66). Have had Morgans ever since, now on my sixth.

My father had a vague connection with Pat Keen (I think they may have spent some time in the same regiment, I seem to remember a Royal Hampshire crest on a dark green +8) so from as young as I can remember (and probably a bit before that) we hung around the paddock of various meets, seeing the sights, smelling the smells and hearing the noises of Morgans racing.
He ordered his (rather more sedate) 4-seater 4/4 when I was not quite ten years old, and took delivery when I was in my mid-teens. That is the car which now graces my garage some 30 years later. It's not so much an obsession as a genetic imperative...
