My 2013 4/4 was pranged on 26 March. I was heading off for the first Sydney (MOCA) mid week run I had been able to make.
A P plater (basically just passed his test) emerged through two two lanes of traffic after making an illegal right turn. We've all seen the accident a dozen times. I had no chance to miss the #%^*+ (fellow),
So 3 months without the 4/4 is likely. Started looking at anything with some character, especially Astons. Hence the Bonhams posts.
Was put off Astons by a client who reckons they are just a steering wheel and a speedometer.
Mind you said client has a Minor convertible. Can I rely upon his judgement?

Thanks Richard. The boss and I were fine. A 40 kph accident. Damaged chassis, bent sway bar. Furious as hell. Courteous to the opposition. (I hope).

No. But whilst as standard they are really a fast saloon, when stripped out they can make a sports car as racing shows. For my taste they are simply too big and heavy and old fashioned

For character Fiat 500 circa 1958? You wont get anywhere fast but that will just give more time to enjoy the huge grin.

What about a Jensen ? You can get a really good one for a fraction of the price of an Aston.
