I do think the SS / Coupe interiors were fantastic and pretty timeless too. However, much more expensive than the simpler interiors fitted to Aero 8s, and I'm sure some cost management has had to be incorporated to keep the new Aero price down a bit.
There is a bit too much carpet in the new Aero 8 and let's hope it's a better quality carpet than the stuff in my S3!

It is worth comparing apples with apples though. The SS/Coupe interior posted features the "optional" quilted interior. Which does indeed raise the perceived quality of it.
I rather liked the showcar's interior - with box carpet and wood centre panel - felt very "morgan". My only concern would be how prown it was to damage.

the carpet of the Aero 8 makes the cabin more interesting and feel more spacious; and also more 'modern'

In all honesty, I prefer the rear of the S1, Aeromax, and the SS (in that order). The newest one seems rather bloated at the rear. It's as if the boot dwarfs the wings. I very much like the rest of the car.

Photographs don't do the design justice, seen in the metal, the car has nicely balanced lines.

Probably. I still don't like the size of the boot. It's too big compared to the wings, in my opinion.

If as Jay's says it's better in the flesh then I will really love it. I love the photo.

Photographs don't do the design justice, seen in the metal, the car has nicely balanced lines. I've always thought that true of the whole Aero series. They look a lot better in the flesh than they do in photographs, and they look a great deal better in motion than they do when stationary.

Yes, hence me liking the S1, Max, and SS more than this. Those look great in photos to begin with and even better in the flesh. This, well, it might look better in the flesh than in photos, but it has a poor starting point, because the boot looks too big for me. Keep in mind, that I prefer the S1 over any other iteration. The one where boot volume was not considered. The versions after that added a taller boot lid, because people wanted more volume in the boot. I feel this version is too compromised in that regard.
Just to be clear: I am not saying the car is ugly. I am not saying it is a bad car. I am merely saying that I would personally prefer a smaller boot, knowing full well I am in the minority who couldn't care less if all I could pack was dopp kit.
