Took the Mog out this morning to Pembroke dock for two lengths of decking sawn in half, down the footwell and out over the headrest what an awesome delivery truck.

Roof up and sides off is also a nice way to travel. Agree and you keep surprisingly dry even if it is raining hard.

I can post on here now, 'cos today I drove a Plus 4 with two seats too many today! First Plus 4 for me, courtesy of MMC demo fleet, and jolly civilised it was, too. Had an hour topless up into the hills, in the sunshine, coat off & heater on 'glow'.
Gauge showed an average fuel consumption of only 27mpg, though. Presumably from several other drivers, but sub-30 mpg..? Would that be right?
Anyway, cracking afternoon either way!!

Well I just took a local neighbour/ resident ( 91yrs retired Doctor & 6'06" tall) for his first ever blast in a Morgan. He LOVED it even though with a dicky hip getting out was "interesting" The last open topped car he ever travelled in was an Austin Seven so open topped Moggy went down well. I'm negotiating use of his garage for the forthcoming winter as I shall be losing my rented lock up. I think the trip has helped the negotiation no end.

Jays, sheppy's cider in Taunton is well worth a visit. Too right! I have a, sadly empty, flagon in the back of the 90 with Sheppeys name on it!!
