Easy to adjust assuming no accident damage, if this was the only fault I am surprised the tester didn't do it.
I passed mine on Friday. Although the tester was concerned about the belt being off the rear sprocket. I managed to convince him that this was how the 1st 500 were made. It took me a long time to find a place that could do it mind.
Was careful to replace the antislip on the pedals just before it was tested.
Slacken off the nut that bolts the light in place and then re-tighten in the correct position.
When I got mine MOT'd a few weeks back I took along the right sized spanner just in case. Saying that the tester got on with it and made the adjustment for me.
