I have 4 chips on my screen
No where around here to get repairs done
They have been the same for years and came with the car
When they become a crack I'll get a new screen
( no excess on my policy)

Glass Doctor came & fixed it whilst I am away in Spain. Will see the result tonight & post some pics of before & after

Another recommendation for Glass Doctors; they do get about a bit but Wales might be stretching it! I'd get in touch with them anyway (in the hope of them knowing someone out there).

On their web site they only really cover the midlands & S East.
Autoglass wanted 10 days to come & fix it, they did it next day.

I used Autoglass to repair a chip on the 4/4's screen. Came the following day. Most insurance policies cover things like this without it affecting your no claims bonus.

Yes BUT Adrian Flux ( my insurers) have to be told first and they arrange an approved glass repairers. I have to drive 35miles ( 70mile round trip) to the nearest authorised place.
Not ideal !
