Try the gomog website. No videos but it is pretty simple.

So today I treated myself to a grease gun for my kingpins....well, it's a start! I had the autogreasing kit fitted so as not to have to exert myself too much (however I believe that a certain amount of crawling and wiping will still be necessary) and now for the grease. I see on here that Castrol LM and Comma Multipurpose are recommended, the latter which Halfords stock but I would like the best for the job if possible.

Question is, does anyone have any idea what grease Morgan themselves and/or the main dealers use? I assume the grease they apply is the bees knees....or at least you would think that.

I use Molykote BR2 PLUS.
https://www.dowcorning.com/applications/search/products/details.aspx?prod=01512854&type=PROD

This grease in used for industrial application: cranes, heavy machinery. It includes molybdenum bisulfide which is a super lubricant.

Thanks for your tips.

I ended up getting some from the dealer, "Force Lithium EP2".

Never heard of it but I assume it's decent stuff if they use it.

I suspect I'm being more than unusually cynical, but I'd be amazed indeed if either MMC or the Dealers used anything but the cheapest grease available that met the spec.

Which is not necessarily a problem, regular greasing is far more important that the grade used. For any sliding application, Moly greases are generally preferred, so pretty much anything with the words 'Molybdenum Disulphide' on the tin is going to be fine. I have always used Castrol MS3 as it's easy to get hold of and is compliant with all relevant grades and standards.

Mogworks told me to use a red grease. Before I used Castrol CL
What you need is a grease suited to axles and exposure to water.
after that in reality it is a 1909 design so will be happy is regularly greased
