Hi,
In the factory museum there is (or at least there was) a light blue +8 with dark-blue Morgan lettering across the bonnet.Does anyone have this 'logo' in the flat. I would lime to remake it. Btw, I would also be interested in the history of that car.

The car you refer to is the second prototype Plus8 from 1968. Raced by the factory most of its life. I have a PDF of the logo if it is of use to you. PM me if it is.

There's a yellow +8 (I think) here in Perth with the same letting - quite striking.

Aren't these copyright? If your worried about the Morgan Police catching you - have a look at them in the 'cop cars' thread I think you might get away with it

I don't know if it is copyright as the logo I've got is one I made myself when I made the racing helmet for last years LMC.

Guys, Thanks for the replies, the help and the warning. I was indeed thinking of copying it on my car. I am not familiar with Morgans Copyricht policies. I can understand that they dont want third parties using Morgan brand comercially. Clothing, badges etc. But in this case, a one off for own use?

If you use it commercially without permission I think you'd be in trouble, same as any trademark or copyright, the odd individual using it ain't gonna worry them.
They should have more important things to do.
