Went to see a pal who has a photogenic driveway....  And then off to see another even more agricultural...  With all due respect, your car looks fantastic, absolutely beautiful...but the wheels, they don't fit. Anytime I see a Morgan with those wheels and the tyres with walls as tiny as those, it's like watching a brand new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS with wire wheels. You can tell something's wrong. PD: this post comes from a guy who would like to put Minilite alloy wheels in his much-dreamed Morgan +4 so, be gentle...

It may be the photo - in the flesh the wheels/tyres don't draw the eye as being wrong in any way...

But I do prefer the Aeromax wheels on the Plus 8, they are slightly more "spokey" and nod back to the Traditional look as this photo of Tarka outside the factory in 2014 shows...  But I agree, it is a personal thing.

Peter and I have swapped many emails on the subject of wheels! My original intention was to fit the Speedster wheels.... then the Aeromax.... But given how much I've spent on Morgans recently, I have a Morgan moratorium! Now I'm living with the 8, I like the wheels as is - but will continue to ponder!
