Drove home last night in horrid weather in the dark. Biggest problem was trying to avoid being blinded by the lighted switches in my +4 by the time I had the heated windscreen and rear foglight on. They are just too bright.
The dash rheostat adjusts the intensity of the clocks, but not the illuminated switches.
Before I start tearing in there, has anyone tried either a bulb swap or wiring them for rheostat?
I guess that you have the push Switches made by eao. They directly mounted to circuit board which makes is a bit challenging to connect them with the rheostat. But you can Change the "bulb" or LED ínside.
Another solution would be to Exchange the visible parts against the newer ones used since 2008. That's what minikeefy and myself did. I can send you descrbition by PM if you like to.
