I do not think Jays strategy will work!

The Spaniels will have missed him - there will be no stopping them!

Oh dear! Next week I fully expect to hear the news that a certain Mr J. S. has ordered a new narrow bodied Plus 4 after being offered a test drive by the spaniels.

That takes some of the fun out of it. It was a major selling point that you could fine tune your choices up until the car went into build. Let's face it the cost to Morgan is only a couple of minutes for someone to key in the changes to the build order and then confirm everything a week before the car goes into build.

Definitely a for Morgan.

Right, here's the story.. I sat and listed what I'd like in my spec.. Being something of a traditionalist nothing surprising in liking dark green with piped cream/tan interior. I've had bright red and black and fancied the green. Stainless wires, moto lita, boot rack, convex mirrors, bonnet strap, etc etc you get the idea.
So, visit to the spaniels and lo and behold what arrived yesterday.. Plus 4 in Connaught Green , magnolia leather with green piping, rack, moto lita, stainless wires.. Yes almost a match! The only thing I might have changed would be over ideas for full length bumpers. Anyway, I went for that one. Yes I miss out on the factory order joys but also I won't have to wait (subject to paying!) plus a new order would be a 5% increase.
MG TC , don't know yet, keeping my options open.. Other toys can go first but we'll see.
Looking forward to getting back to Morganeering.

Fantastic! The spaniels sorted out the order for you when you old the 4/4 - they knew you'd want another Morgan!

Jay really doesn't stand a chance next week as there will be a narrow bodied Plus 4 sitting in the showroom in his ideal spec? laugh2

Steve - congratulations and nice story - the same thing happened to us at Williams - strangely with a +4 in pretty much the same colours/spec as yours! cheers

We decided it was one of those 'it was meant to be/the car has found you' scenarios - which seem to be influenced by certain spaniels. Never believed in it before, but now ....

I'm sure you will enjoy the car - got our car in January this year - its brilliant. Update us (and photos) when you get yours thumbs
