No I'm not hbatts, but nippymog is.....

After my experience today at Cadwell Park I can't really recommend the Yokohama A Drive for track use...... other than to say it was brilliant until it let go and spun me out on the last lap...while on the straight! Went onto the grass for another 360 degree spin, thankfully not hitting anything!

Really?! Not suitable in that it failed and had a blow-out or grip was relinquished really suddenly for whatever reason? I have just fitted a Yoko BlueEarth thing and it feels fine on the road, but I do have some track outings planned this year. Could you expand on what happened please?!

Top effort for racing at Cadwell though! I have coached there on bikes for years, but never raced - it must have been a great experience as the track is so lovely.

Last lap (lap 5) of a shortened race, due to an F type rolling on lap 1.

I had been in an intense fight with a very well driven F type for a couple of laps...Just couldnt shake him off with my power on the straights...he attacked at virtually every corner!!

Just exited the 90 degree left hander at the bottom of the hill and accelerating to the chicane when it just suddenly spun out and onto the grass we went for another 360 degrees. Fortunately we didn't hit anything

There was absolutely no warning or mishandling at any time before

Strewth. Blown tyre or just a massive let-go? Glad all OK though.

Its our race debut on Sunday at Cadwell Park...which looks daunting!!

Not enough of us on this side of the pond to get together for fun and games on a track. I'll keep my civilian status and stick to impromptus on the roads!

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

I suppose - with only 1 wheel - if you hit a bit of oil anything could happen...
