The current style of hood is pretty straightforward even if it is a tad fiddlier than the two seaters. It does help if you are tall though as you have to extend the frame vertically to its full extent before bringing it down onto the screen header rail. We show customers hiring the four seater how to do it and most pick it up pretty quickly.

I find the hood very easy to put up on my 2008 Plus 4. It is easier with a helping hand, but with some practice it is not hard to do alone. You just have walk around the car several times. When the car was brand new it was harder. It seems that with some use the mechanisms loosen up and everything moves easier or perhaps my technique has improved. Harald

I'm 6'2" so might be able to help out! Is it like a two seater, but with double the side screens, and the need to pull out further vertically? Do you work at factory, Jays?

The principle is the same as the two seater Easyup. You need to extend the frame out fully and then flip a catch either side which holds it all in place (that's sometimes the fiddly bit) before lowering it down to the header rail. Practice makes perfect.
And yes, I work part time at the factory as a tour guide. We often help hand over hire cars to clients and run through how everything works with them.

The most important bit is to fold the roof properly, because its such a large roof it has a lot of nasty corners ,my wife and i put foam inbetween the scissor mechenism or it will eventually wear through the mohair(WE caught it just in time).Because of the large fold at the rear we also bought some velcro straps to tuck the folds in it also trasforms the overall look of the car.Hope their happy with their new purchase the four seater is a great car.
