Lovely short run in car yesterday. Started day completing the remote grease system for sliding pillar suspension. Then fitted the newly blackened luggage rack. Discovered that the suitcase does not need any extra straps like I bought from Morgan!
So now ready for Lakes, Peaks, Vale of Belvoir, Cotswolds (With a best friend of Stringers) New Forrest and Isle of Wight. May the weather be kind.

A day at the Wilton Classic and Supercar event: a good, but short run to join up with a few others from LogMog: most were at Mog 15 in North Wales.
The event...well clearly the organisers attempt to split a one day event into a weekend hadn't really worked. Saturday was "Classic" and Sunday is "Supercar". Instead of the 10,000 or so last Sunday there were less than half that number. Quite a number of quite grumpy traders....
Next year? I don't think so.

A splendid drive in Nero. Side screens off, roof down to Lion Quays hotel near Chirk ready for MOG15 on Sunday. Ignored the sat nav and got thoroughly lost in some wonderful lanes around Clun.

Set off at 0530.Arrived Llangollen 0800. Minimal traffic en route and no Morgans. Missed a downpour around Oulton Park by a whisker. Roads were very wet and we saw the cloud but missed the rain! Judging started at 1005. Aero Speedster there with PJ problem. Forced into verge and scraped rim. Good turnout today but some traders arrived late to set up for tomorrow. Two other yellow cars on site, and one appeared to be yellower than Bumble. Good turnout of dealers, especially recent additions. Mog mag not attending apparently.

Good turnout of dealers, especially recent additions. Mog mag not attending apparently. I leave before 7.00 am in the morning, drive up to Worcester and drop Madam's tin top at MogMag's HQ and we then drive to MOG 2015 in a test car, but non-Morgan I'm afraid!  Anyway MogMag will be there circa 11.00 am onwards...

My rectal mirror is also visible on the kneeling mat. We were 'fixing' one of the trophy bases.
