Thanks all am still getting used to this system so not sure if my previous post got lost in ether - but just to say thanks and have ordered full cover to fit bonnet as well - as recommended. Still looking for an appropriate towel!

Remember to let the car cool down before you cover the bonnet or the fabric will be damaged.

Blimey, those V6s must put out some heat. I've never found my bonnet to be any more than warm to the touch following a run.

I have one of John's cockpit covers, best bit of kit to come with the car. Not only does it keep the rain off, but if you have to park in the street overnight it gives a degree of security and stops casual eyes releasing that actually its quite simple to get in the car. i don't go anywhere without it.
