Cat and fiddle. Speed limit 50 with average speed cameras (they are very good though !) helicopter also monitoring! Lots of trucks but a lovely descent to Buxton .

Took the Mog up to the factory today. Prescott Marshals' Club tour. Nice lunch afterwards. Then back past 3 Counties showground, Welland, then across via Tirley to home. Now I really wish I was heading to the Highlands in a couple of weeks along with the rest of the group...

In an hour or so I'm off to Le Mans for the 24hrs race (the real one, not Le Classic). 10th time I have taken the Morgan.

Meeting up with many CranMog cars for part of the journey, including breakfast. Then meeting friends from Amsterdam, Oslo, and Dorset.

Reading to Portsmouth, ferry to Caen, breakfast in Alençon, before camping at Malicorne-sur-Sarthe, which is about 1/2 hour S. of the circuit. Back Monday. woohoo


Weather forecast is for hot with heavy showers Sunday.
