In the latest MOG mag article about threewheelers at the Isle of Man , it suggests that the Krazy Horse tuned car has "some serious edge" over the Garage 56 one , going on to say" it's got 20 horse on the other one " .

Having previously lived about ten minutes away from Krazy Horse ,I have now moved and it takes a couple of hours to get there so I can't nip round and try it !
I was wondering if anyone has had a go , or had the kit fitted . Also curious as to how loud the exhausts are . Finally does anyone know what the "Bob-air valve " is ?

I like the visual 'effect' of the new cast rockers and writing, but I'm not too sure about any badges that claim something is actually something that it isn't. Look at all those 'M' badges on the back of cooking 3- and 5-series.....

As expected, there's no mention of the kit on KH website and I'd be interested to see what they've done to get so much more power over the simple Stage-1 G56 mods. I saw a pipe design of theirs last year (which I posted on here I think) where it was just a complete straight-through without any silencing other than a light perforation layer running what looked like the entire length of the pipe. Pretty noisy when we got the to fire it up, but probably OK flow in performance terms.

Anyone got any more info on the mods specifically? My subs to MOG lapsed, so I haven't seen the article yet.

My opinion ( for what its worth ) - Naffness of the highest order.
Proper engineering ( which is what we are discussing ? ) does not make something out to be what it isnt.

Red Three installed the Garage 28 kit, R1NGA installed the Garage 56 (are they the same folks?) and Nippymog installed a stage 2 kit from (?). Given the limited traction the M3W has, at what point does the power increase detract from the driving experience? A stage 1 kit seems to genuinely enhance the driving experience by increasing the willingness of the S&S twin to rev and pull, especially at lower RPMs. I've not seen Nippymog comment on his satisfaction with the stage 2 though I'm willing to bet better judgment on the load pedal is required and maybe tires beg for mercy a little more often. So, is a stage 3 kit from Krazyhourse even drivable or would it be asking for nothing but trouble?

Right ive read the article now. Im very confused how a stage 1 kit can be 20hp over g56.

I read it that the 20hp difference was a subjective comment.

The main difference seems to be the KH remapped ecu which they say is tuned for "drivability"

It would be interesting to see a dyno plot from KH for each of their stage 1, 2 and 3 kits.

I heard last week from my dealer that there was an accident with a M3W in IoM while on a Mog Magazine road test. Think they left their trailers at the dealership while over there
