Not the Morgan today...yet! Picked up new motorbike and just had to pop into the factory on my way back home! Dealer is 3 miles from me...I seemed to have racked up 80miles!

How was the bike and how did your leg feel when riding again?

Can't get any higher, most likely looking down on all of you today:
Col de la Bonette, 2802 m - the highest Alpine pass.

Took the Morgan to Moreton in Marsh today. Came across three tradition Morgans, one Aero, Two 1950 (guess) Bentley convertibles and one old but superb vintage supercharged Bentley . Quite a day! Must be the weather.

Totally empty roads on the way to work this morning at 5:15 apart from Dorset's complete complement of pigeons! I think I was either the first car for quite a few hours either that or someone has a truck leaking bird feed! I gave up counting at 40 and it was at least double that. Had to stop a few times for the dozy things!

Took the Mog to work today and out for a drive with Rach this eve for a nice meal al fresco - 2 no. 8oz steaks with chunky chips, large mushroom and grilled tomato and a fabulous rocket side salad, a pint of ale and a large glass of red - all for £24 !!!!!

Thursday night special at the Farmers Arms near Parbold

For the first time I actually passed Croston village's other Morgan owner Vince out in one of his Mogs tonight - a dark green 4/4 4 seater 2002 that used to be owned by Andy at Lifes

Fabulously warm weather in the North West today

Happy days !

The bike was great, everything I expected of it. I just need to sort out all the buttons and modes! Never had a bike with cruise control before!
The ankle was ok. Too swollen for a couple of my boots to fit but at least I've one pair that does. Easier with the seat height on this as well, compared to my tippy toes GS which put too much load on my foot.

Euro......it's a BMW R1200RS.
