I decided to replace the damaged allen exhaust manifold bolt. Drilled the head off quite easily and then rotated the manifold to remove the stud. Been putting it off for a while but was easier than expected.

200 miler from Kilarney to Bray - M7 a pleasure to use. M1 traffic volume must have been similar in the sixties. Diversion via the Curragh to beautiful Gledalough. Had a knee trembler earlier involving an old tractor, emergency braking, skid markes and a quarter bottle of Autofinesse leather cleaner (dont ask) but in Bray safe and sound ready for another Guiness.

Not exactly. Just returned from a walk around the lanes near us and had to pull into the side while 17 'Mods' (not Mogs) came by on their Vespas & Lambrettas. A mix of men and women aged in their 60s & 70s. Lovely to see them all pass by.

Nice drive out to MidMogs gathering at Hampton Court Castle....the "other" Hampton Court out in deepest Herefordshire. 23 Morgan's turned up including a Aero Three Wheeler and Mike Duncan driving Peter Morgan's last car...a metallic blue Plus8. The castle certainly is a lovely venue and well worth visiting if only for the spectacular gardens...the foods not bad either!
I'll post some photos a bit later.

We had a good run out to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway at Toddington, near Broadway this morning for a jolly good breakfast at 08.30 with the Prescott Breakfast Club. Met Petemog and his brother Tony who drove all the way up from West London, and got talking to a recent member Paul. Unfortunately we had to leave about 1100 to pick up daughter number 1 from the airport, so we missed the train ride and the look behind the scenes in the GWR workshop. Definitely worth a trip.

Good to see you and Julie this morning. An interesting collection of cars and an excellent breakfast in the Flag & Whistle.
Next months meeting on 5 July is back at Prescott and hoping for a good turnout of Mogs. For those interested, there is a run to the Porsche Club in Moreton to see their collection and to watch the Grand Prix.

Nice lunch with Fox Mog. On the way home enjoyed the fantastic sight of the Vulcan powering overhead at about 1500 feet. To be no more after this year I understand. What a shame.
