I am very happy to help. I have considerable experience in taking and the equipment for technical photographs. My 2012 M3W is on its way down to my house in France at the moment when the transporter has a space and I am going to be away in the USA for the next three weeks but on my return, I can take any photographs required.

What a great instruction piece - well done!

Reading through the step x step process is excellent - but its not as easy as you might think!!!

Charles,
I am a "newby" to MTW ownership and Talk Morgan but so delighted to be on the road. I put up a post looking to see if there was a manual available anywhere and it was suggested I contact you. I have nothing, having bought the car (a Feb 12 so not many mods as yet) , through a non-Morgan dealership. First question , is there rally nothing? or do I seek an S&S manual somehow. I am not sure on oil types, service intervals etc. If you can advise it would be really appreciated.

A Feb 12 - must be one of the first if that's right?

Welcome to M3W ownership and TM. That is an early car. There really is no Maintenance Manual for the M3W, amazing as that may be in this day and age. There is an excellent S&S manual for the engine, available from several places but try this in the UK:

http://www.mattsmachineshop.co.uk/

They are very helpful for all S&S stuff I have found. There is an Illustrated Parts Catalogue that did have a link on TM some time ago for a download but I cannot find it now, anyone have it still? I have downloads of service check items, oils etc. I am sure Charles has this as well but PM me if you need the info and I will try and email it to you. Good luck.

Thank you for the welcome. Although my MTW is one of the early ones (Feb 2012), I was delighted to hear from Morgan MC Ltd yesterday that it has had the all the chassis strengthening, New Regulator and new centre drive work done...fortunately, as it was going to be c. £3500 to do it as out of warranty at that age. The guys there were extremely helpful as I took the car to them (very local for me) and they searched the chassis number and took me through their knowledge of it and what has been done.
Tomorrow I am having the Comfort pack fitted and the Cooling fan and they will put in the S&S recommended spacer on the Front crank case. So by tomorrow afternoon it will be a whole new driving experience. Well at least I won't be leaping across lanes after every bump!

I will give my contribution with the headlights: I bought my 3W in the UK and moved it to Italy, I needed the LHD headlights to get it registered: MCC was charging 288 GBP + shipping, but I bought the correct headlights from Wipac's website (just go to the Aftermarket section) for 54 GBP (total for both lights). MCC was insisting that I had to change the whole headlight assembly, when in fact I changed only the sealed beam unit and that's enough. The headlight is a standard 7" unit with the sidelight, I installed them in 5 minutes with no electric work needed. i hope this helps.
