Yep, drove the 252 miles from Essex to Somerset this morning in readiness for the Fossilmog picnic tomorrow left home at 04.00 top down, great journey no traffic, just over 4 hours door to door

Was going to drive down to the Bicester Flywheel event this morning but the weather today is crap. Decided to go tomorrow when the forecast looks dryer and hopefully the air display will take place.
So it's down the end of the drive, across the road to the village playing field to enjoy a wet afternoon at the village Wild West fete instead!

No Red Arrows at Barry. They were stuck Scotland due to bad weather. We had managed to get superb parking to view them too. Ah well.....not a bad day in the end.
Drove to the flywheel festival and saw some great pre war classic race cars in action and some ww1 planes in action despite annoying drizzle , masses of military stuff to !
