"and after accelerating like that for 100 yds the brown PP9 up front is flat ..." Don't forget, that, at least here in the UK, a warranty claim is against the dealer, not the manufacturer and no matter how much the dealer squirms and says they can't get the cost back from the factory, that is up to them. Quite how one enforces this, if the dealer does not want to accept their liability, I'm not sure, does anyone have any knowledge of this

I would hope no Morgan dealer would allow a customer relationship to get to the point where trading standards or even small claims court was needed.
With the ever present power of social media i'd have thought no car dealer could get away with not doing whats legal and correct.

Besides weighing 14 pounds, the steel sprocket costs $1051 usd delivered to the west coast of the USA. For that price, the sprocket had better last the life of the vehicle. A SuperMax conversion would be cheaper and hopefully as long lasting. They are located not to far from our place in Arizona, may need to visit them.

The SuperMax conversion weighs in at 4lbs 5.75oz. 1.978Kg.
I am desperately trying to get my M3W in to do the swap! I am fearing that the compensator is showing signs of immanent demise. I hope not.

Mine has started screaming at 55mph but is quiet at 40 & 70, and is always noisy on the over run, I got mine directly from MMC so who is the dealer there?

Today my worn rear drive sprocket made itself evident with noise on the overrun. Only noticeable upto 50 mph, maybe masked by bevelbox whine under load. Waiting for dealer to get back to me with MMC's response to warranty claim. Don't see how they can deny it. Is the belt likely to be changed?

Your warranty claim will, technically, be against the dealer under UK law. Best of luck. Let us know how you fare.
