So what,s the big issue guys anybody thought beyond ooh! You are a wimp because you are driving with the hood up? When the sun shines . Skin cancer for example! I prefer the hood down but would not want to put pressure on people who are not medically fit and make them feel uncomfortable. We have all paid for our cars so we can do what the hell we like!! Let everyone enjoy the driving! I'm an open air fan for sure - but my first two Morgans had everflex rooves and unless you warmed them up in the house before fitting them you ran the risk of cracking the screen as it had contracted during the 9 months rest. Treating it once a year is a must really to maintain it's flexibility and I found the best place to effect it was fitted. The mohair doesn't suffer in the same way on my current car but I had it on for November, December and January because it makes winter running more comfortable and enjoyable as we do get the odd shower or two down by ere.

Let everyone enjoy the driving! Well said Roger! Having been diagnosed with skin cancer earlier this year and gone through a six week treatment, it really has brought it home to me about the need for sun protection. Definitely a hat and slap on high factor....and if it's going to get as hot as forecast this coming week, the hood will remain up...or more likely the roof on the Z4 and aircon on full!

Well I hope you had a servo on the brakes and were enjoying fully independent suspension as you appear to favour a gentle ride. Referring to the journey of course .

When Jnr was at school one of her pals mother used to drive a Jag on the m/ing and an Aston in the a/noon ( they belonged to her partner ). She brought her child to our home one red hot summer day the mog was outside and the Jag had its hood up. Not thinking I asked " WHY DONT YOU GO TOPLESS" . She had not a clue looked at me as though I meant something else even when I pointed the hood out . I had seen bigger boobs on a budgie and a better face . My hairdresser tells me she always drives with her top off Can we all come and watch?
