I must be one mean son of a bitch. I agree that having a long bar is a great idea, but not paying upwards of £40 or £50 for one. Surely us Morgan folk are meant to be at least a little handy, how difficult can it be to find a bit of scrap to lengthen the handle of the spanner already supplied? Even having a special spinner tool made shouldn't cost much, maybe £20?
I'll put my mind to it and let you all know how little it costs to make [or have made] something.
What have you other handy people done? Especially for spinners as I don't want to change my spinners back to nuts.

What have you other handy people done? Especially for spinners as I don't want to change my spinners back to nuts.  I got the socket with the car and a mate drilled and welded a 24"X 1" bar on it - it takes care of my Morgan Lightweight Alloy Centre locks. I got him to drill the hole at 90 degrees to the original and closer to the wheel without hitting the wing for a better moving moment. Zero cost but I sort his electrics and electronics out at no charge when he's stuck.  And this is Millers arrangement and it has served me well with the 4/4 Sport and was not expensive. About 3' of leverage is adequate but it is possible to effortlessly lift any corner of the car with it via a wheel nut when you're full of Shredded Wheat, a very good bit of kit and doubles as SIP on the passenger side  .

When I had the 4/4 I bought the wheel spinner removal tool from the MG Owners Club. Cost around £18 and worked very well.

I like to carry mine with me. It’s made from scrap metal and unbolts to stow under the seat.

I have a welded version similar to Roger's an owner made and sold here in Aus with a dog-legged angular tube handle. Works great.

Its quaint how Morgan still insist on supplying a mallet. One of the first things that I did was remove the thing from the car (wasn’t planning on any camping trips anyway).
I wonder how much damage has been inflicted over the years by desperate owners trying to remove wheels with it!

OK guys -- this is fine for the octagonal nuts --- now, who is the genius that has a similar tool for twin eared spinners - and NOT the one from Germany that costs the output of a nation to buy!!!
I have one from the MG club, but it is less than perfect in that the spinner doesn't seat fully and unless you use some sort of material in the jaws, it chews the edge of the spinners.
The German one looks great, but surely a slightly different(to avoid patent issues) one could be made for a more reasonable price
SO -- Who is the genius???!!!!
