Similar reasoning behind our change from Roadster to Plus 8. We needed comfort and Auto, now we have a car that Caroline enjoy's driving.
We will be at TOTH, staying at The Cottage Friday and Saturday, so I'm sure we will bump into each other.

I will probably recognise you from all the pictures I have seen so I will come over and say hello. We usually stay at the Cottage when we are in Malvern and have not stayed at the Abbey so thought we would give it a try.
As my Aero is up for sale, we don't have a Morgan to go in this time so will be in my wife's BMW Z4 35is. We are going to feel just a little out of place!

There will be one more Plus 8 joining the merry band of owners. I have put in my order for a new Plus 8, the car is due to be started last week of this month with delivery at the end of July, beginning of August. Can't wait! Yay! Congratulations on buying THE Morgan!  I have one and love it. Look forward to seeing the pics.

Congrats for me too. I have a seriously bad back and a ride in a trad chassi always resulted in groans and "why woudl anybody....". I love my plus 8 with the Luigi dash and all of its idiosyncrasies. The dear old gal was left alone for 10 days while I was in the US and on homecoming day on a tour from Oslo to Gothenburg she started to growl and whine at every turn of the wheel. What other car would say " I have missed You"?

Even getting wet is fun...
Discovered the "stay dry" speed is about 60mph/100kph, at 30mph/50kph you get VERY wet inside, so slowing is best avoided driving hood down in the rain.
Also hood up you can't properly hear the exhaust.

Jay is right, I went to the factory just before ordering my car and was told that the Plus 8 wouldn't get the new suspension set up until some time after the new Aero 8 goes into production. I loved the suspension set up on my Aero for it's feedback from the road so I'm quite happy to have the same set up on my Plus 8. John....Missing having a Morgan to drive in all this lovely weather
