Looking for a 3 wheeler or have one on order?
Opportunity to buy a Brooklands probably won't come up very often.

Looks like quite a nice car - and altho a bit of ££negotiation would be needed not too bad a price.

You would need to go through the full list of questions posted under "Its a Shame" and check out that the exhaust mounts are the latest version. scared

I personally do not like the Brooklands exhausts - for me they dominate the car too much. hide

No doubt about it, it's a cracking car, however, the problem with a car priced so close to the new price, is that apart from getting it now, instead of a few months down the line, I'm not sure what any other advantage is. A very small saving, but a bit of dealer negotiation may also save the same amount, so, I would rather wait for a new one to my own spec I think. however, I'm sure someone will be along with some money in a minute. Pants?

Beauty is, as they say, in the eye of the beholder. It was the Brooklands exhaust that set me on route for that model. That along with the Brooklands wheel...even if I am now on number three. Each to their own eh 4/4Boy !

I am currently suffering a seemingly inconsequential problem with my drivers side exhaust that neither I nor the dealer can fully solve; and it's driving me nuts. The vibrations cause the entire unit to revolve and come into contact with the heatshield causing a hell of a racket and looking less than symmetrical from the back. We've slowed it considerably but I still have to unbolt and reset things every half dozen journeys or so. In light of all the other issues I guess this is a mere trifling inconvenience.

Mine is a late 2014 build and I believe that the interminable delay I suffered, make that delays, was due to the factory holding back until an upgraded exhaust was received. It took me a lot of questions and cajoling to get to what I believe to be the truth. As things stand, neither side shows signs of cracking....now why did I go and say a silly thing like that !!

No offence intended at all!

That's what makes the world spin round - each to their own. - it would be too boring if we all liked the same things.

I had a Brooklands SW on my M3W and loved it btw.

Its the Vehicle thats Warranted not the owner so its 30 months whoever owns it. The vehicle has been fitted with the thicker steel exhausts following cracking of the originals, These have been adjusted on their mounts by Phil ledgerwood himself to prevent any further problems.
THE PRICE OF THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN REDUCED TO 30,000 POUNDS
