I had one of those on my Honda Civic Type R powered Lotus Elise. Made 300bhp and a great noise. Turned it into a real pocket rocket...

That intake plenum looks quite bulky, I'd think it would be quite a job getting it into a Mog. Be nice if you could though.

In answer to your "can a Morgan be fitted with a blower".
The factory did some testing on a Roadster some years back.
Fitted with a supercharger and sent to some testing ground in the US the 3 litre engine was tried out. Quite a bit of interest shown by TM members at the time. However the engine failed in some way and the project did not get mentioned again. Perhaps the 3.7 Mustang was looked at after this, although even that transition took some 18 months to be ready for sale.

Looks like a fun project to try.

Sorry guys, still have not figured out what is wrong with my attempted FS advert. But, in the meanwhile, let me remind you that Chas Windridge used to manage 4/4 supercharging conversions with, I beleive, Jackson Racings M45 based kit. I think it was pretty much at its limit with the 1.8. This is the larger M62, so for 2.0 litres+.

Anyway, keep an eye out for the ad, which explains more!

cheers, Colin
