260 mile round trip. Set off at 0600 but Adrian got there first......and so they were number 7. We were number 35, but an improvement on last year when we were number 39!
Unfortunately we couldn't stay over this year and had to get back home earlyish, so a straight blat back up the motorway.
No rain so Morgan now spick and span again!

TOTH Friday to Sunday: a 206 Mile round trip and on one tank of fuel with 20% left.
That worked out at 26mpg, including the hill climbs!
Back in the rain, hood up on Sunday Morning, excellent weekend.

310 Mile round trip early start and late finish, a great day and nice to meet some of you guys shame about the accident at the end at least no one was hurt.

Are you sure Peter, I make the shortest route 112 miles from Salisbury to Shelsley. Maybe you have an Oddometer.

TOTH weekend.
Stayed in Stourport on Severn.
Great to meet up with some of you.
Fri was a warm leisurely-ish drive up....enjoyed the traffic in Worcester!!!!
Sat at Toth was great...glad nobody was hurt in the crash.
Sun was a trip to RAF Cosford before nice drive to Chase Hotel in Ross on Wye for evening meal for 5 car convoy.
Then drive home.
The Plus8 replica with Peugot diesel engine did well to stay with us! It is still for sale! (Joke played on the owner of a REAL Plus8)

Some lovely old classy cars, bikes and Burrels, Jarretts to smell and touch and as an added pleasure to the day met up with Deano and AJSki2fly purely by fluke. So we swapped mechanical lusts and chatted Morgan as we sauntered around the displays and found this Mike Hailwood TT replica 500cc 4 it almost push started, it fired a few times but failed to run on - the noise was intoxicating with 4 open megaphones. It would be banned nowadays on it's dB count. The fairing was hand beaten alloy and the attention to detail was stunning on every aspect of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpD1g-qyydwIt looks like I will be marshalling some of the Lands End trial early next year too as a result of todays visit - I love the event and of course Peter and Charles were great participants, there are a few Morgans competing. I love attending the tricky stages so I might as well be doing something else that can be combined with bacon butty and coffee consumption, all served from a horse box normally at Simms.
