Just picked up this m/ings post at 12-25 pm Merry Christmas everyone . Some bull sh*t from Sainsburys telling us to start thinking of it . Why dont they go and shove this rubbish where the snow will thaw instantly and leave sane people alone to enjoy the summer sunny. No wonder folks are leaving s/markets in droves it will be buy your easter egg next month . swear

Perhaps they're confused? Downunder it's coming up to Christmas in July....might be odd but at least the cooler weather helps you think it is Christmas!

Yesterday sunny I had to cool off in Craster harbour its tiny with clear water , an ancient place in N/umberland . Best oak smoked kippers known to man.

Cooler Richard cough cough swmboJnr has just returned a few weeks ago and she has a photo ( in her living room ) she is in a bikini on Sydney beach in your winter. I was swimming in the North sea y/day ( as above ) . You are very very welcome to come over in January and Febuary and walk the Tyne piers with me 1/3 of a mile out into the North sea . It freshens you up and makes your cheeks red lots of locals ( both sex ) use it for fishing some at night , but not in strong winds.

I did (December) Christmas in Oz once, it was surreal. One celebration was in Sydney's Darling Harbour and Santa and his Elves arrived on Jetskis. Mad, but great fun
