... on the end of the windscreen wipers that fall off every time that I wash the car.

Should I keep picking them up and replacing them or just get over it already?

swear

Good question,

wonder where you get them?

A bit like the rubber grommets that keep your bonnet stays in place and avoid rattling. My car did not have any.

Mine have long since disappeared, and the new wipers I bought recently didn't come with any. Either glue 'em on or just accept they will continue to fall off. Apart from looking aesthetically pleasing (possibly) they don't perform any useful function - it's not as if the wipers are gonna poke your eye out!

I dabbed a bit of silicone on before pushing them back on for the 20th time. But figured if they fall off they can stay off as I don't think they are essential.

I have never had a Mog over the last 16 years with them.
Don't worry unless you are a concourse fan

Glue them on. Heart of England Morgans did stock them a while ago.

The Wiper Blades that Morgan use are of, well, limited use.

They seems to speer rather than wipe.

Now 7.5" blades with 5.2mm bayonette connections are not exactly common, but TEX Automotive offer 8" ones with a "modern" sprung back to the blade.

Look at Cat No B05108 about half way down the page, click on the photo for a big picture.

Blade

I'm seriusly thinking of getting a set. The extra half inch should fit OK,
Has anyone else tried these?
Could they be worse? I doubt it.
Would they look "right"? Not certain....

I got a 10" set (bragging again) but cut them down to 1/2" longer to cover more area - seem to work alright. Got them from europaspares.

I thought the 'Little black things' we're just there for Type Approval and surplus to requirements once you'd pushed off from the garage forecourt?
