Btw surely you got through a few tyres in your first 10,000 miles especially before the "comfort kit" ?

Way to go Matty, getting your own replacements made up locally has got to be the way to go, both to keep costs down and improve the little beast, that's why I went to Empire Racing originally to have the bumpsteer sorted on my 2013 car, when I realised that Morgan had done bu66er all about it themselves for the new model year.

In 4500 miles (ie a little less than half 10,000 miles!) I've had - oil changes and services - £1,000 - upgrades (suspension / steering) - £300 so not too bad, but have had rear sprocket under warranty and expecting another one within 3000 miles based on previous experience plus goodness knows what for compensator, bevel box, potential engine / belt maladies, new tyres all round... So - rather with Charles on this one. Per mile the 3 wheeler is by far the most expensive 'car' to keep on the road (including Porsches and Aero 8s) I've ever had! And mine's been much more reliable than many I've read about here!

4500 miles up here & just £400 for a service. No complaints at that..

5500 miles in 2 and a half years: Empire Kit Spax adjustables Compensator Rectifer Blockleys 2 services & umpteen other small mods Cost so far well north of 2K
On the bright side it's never driven better than at present.
If SWIMBO knew she would want the same amount spending on handbags and shoes, and that just wouldn't do at all.

Chris, what was the cost for just the Centa bit? Was it a nice to have or did your compensator fail ie. warranty allowance or total cost... My original compensator was failing so I had the choice of like for like replacement under warranty or Centra "upgrade" where I pay for the part and Morgan the labour. The Centra was £946.38 plus VAT = £1,135.66 Fitted last week by Bell & Colvill and it's definately better than the old one. The drivline feels more solid and no rattle at idle.
