Looks to be a normal tweet to me but I'm not on Twitter so I'm not an expert on how it works.
But a former boss and current major shareholder of a firm that I just paid a lot of money to for a new car publicly putting doubts on it's quality suggests to me he's a first class twat. I think it may have been tweeted by mistake and has since been removed. As it doesn't appear to have been for public consumption, I have removed the screenshot. Seems fair. That is very honourable but thanks for drawing attention to it I follow CM on Twitter but haven't been checking in the last few days

After all, if you read Peters Drons excellent book on the M3W'er, it was under CM's leadership that it was rushed to market in the first place with so many issues
Some of which were being dealt with but others that have been addressed since his departure

I too Peter decided when I increased my weight to just over 13 stone enough was enough, so I put myself on iron rations and drastically reduced my alcohol consumption.
8 months later I'm now under 11 and a half stone, feel much better with only 4 or so pounds left to go, this will put me back to where I was at 30 a mere 25 years ago.
Disadvantages so far are none of my trousers fit anymore and belts have had to have more holes punched in.
Advantages, the M3W accelerates quicker and just how much would it have cost me in time and effort to decrease its weight by 15kgs.

Entrepreneurs have to take decisions and CM pushed for the M3W to enter the market. No problem with that. Poor quality control is an other issue - and someone should handle that professionally. I understand CM was not the CEO that time so who actually is responsible???

If I had founded a (Car) Company and my Grandson, with a 30% shareholding had done or was doing anything to prejudice the survival of that Company, I would be seriously 'brassed' off.
Who was responsible or accountable for the strategic decisions of the recent past may only emerge if accurate minutes of meetings are kept and eventually released. Family owned companies don't always maintain such an audit trail, so unless there's a book, we may never know. Even a book may not reflect the whole truth, but the tweet at the start of this thread does indicate that there remain tensions.
Some of the decisions and policy surrounding the M3W have been difficult to understand, but we'll never know how critical the flow of cash is, and has been for the survival of MMC or one of the associates. I think that the recent revelation about the ECU upgrade on the 3.7 Roadster being charged at 3kEuros is yet another reason not to buy one, either new or S/H.

Continuing the thread within a thread, on the day I ordered my M3W I decided at 178cm tall and 106kg even if I could fit in it, I was going to look like I was wearing it. 13 weeks later through diet and exercise I have lost 16kg and with 7 weeks to go should be at my target weight in time to take my first drive.

Some of which were being dealt with but others that have been addressed since his departure I was at the factory on a visit when the first M3W had just come back from the show. Everyone was very excited about it, a couple of the M3W team were their, they seemed rather shocked and concerned that they had over 100 orders. In their own words they said that there was more development to do. I suspect that customer pressure and cash flow had a large part in moving it into production sooner than maybe it should have. From what I have seen with it there have appear to have been three key issues, engineering design, testing and quality control internally and from suppliers.

I think cutting down on the quantity of food and alcohol is the key, for me A bottle of red wine is nearly 800 calories...So I need to reduce carbs (including booze), eat less red meat, more salad, more fruit and more exercise. But the real problem is travel: in a hotel I tend to eat a 3 course meal with wine, because it is there and I'm on my own, likewise a full breakfast. When staying at home we eat modestly: rarely more than a single course although I do drink too much as the habit is a glass or three of wine watching TV. If I watched less TV and was more active I'd drink less. It is a habit, I've proved that cutting out alcohol for a weak is easy. Watch this space.
