I wish I could find two people to agree on the best spring / shock combination.
My 4/4 grounds a bit at the rear. What year? If around 2011/12 you may have "the weak springs". Since I changed my rears to 4 seater springs from (Mulfab) - no bottoming. I also vote for brake reaction bars and AVO's. Not convinced that a Panhard rod is worth it, but I might fit nylon blocks to the chassis at some stage - maybe.

Ok I'll stick my neck out and give my thoughts, and let other shoot me down.
Up front for a comfort ride full Suplex, or Suplex springs 120-140lbs(higher for better handling), mulfab bearings, and Avo shocks all round, on the rear Suplex springs reportedly very good. If Full Suplex up front then matching shocks on rear. A pan hard rod, and brake reaction bars up front, if your 4/4 is a later one and has adjustable camber try .75 degree negative will give great turn in, if not get current geometry measured and get Mulfab to make some plates.
Your grounding is probably knackered rear springs.
Have a chat with Peter at Mulfab, Wiliams, and New Elms they all know how onset up a Mog, they race them. Hope this helps.

Any questions pm me.
As you can see from Henry's race car, we have sorted the suspension problems. We can cater for any budget, doesn't always have to be the most expensive. I will check out that thread cheers. I'm thinking mild tweaks to handling and performance/sound and I like the clarity of Williams website in this regard. Chunky I will PM you for ideas. Cheers. Thanks for all the replies. P.S. I only turn a spanner if it's an emergency
Looking for another Morgan!

I've got to do something with my plus four suspension as it is too harsh so it looks as if Suplex is the way to go? Edit:: I am after comfort more than ultimate road holding. Not convinced that a Panhard rod is worth it, but I might fit nylon blocks to the chassis at some stage - maybe. Dave, On my car the prop shaft touches both sides of the transmission tunnel so I know one is needed!! Cheers John

I agree with you. Shot gun put away! I did most of that to the Roadster, then changed to a Plus 8 to get nice rattly suspension from the 21st Century...

My 4/4 grounds a bit at the rear. Donald. Can't remember what year of manufacture your 4/4 is. Around 2011/12 Morgan had to find nother supplier for leaf springs due to the British manufacturer closing. (I believe British production has now re-commenced). During that period they had a batch of rather poor quality rear springs, as I and several Australians can attest Suplex now make a new design of rear leaf springs that are assymetrical to limit tramp. Also in the news there will be a new kit rear coil conversion kit from Suplex that should be released by Autumn. A pre-requisit of the rear kit is that the front Suplex kit be fitted as it will be tuned to give the best results in conjunction with the front kit. I have no idea of the price at the moment but I have been told it takes about a day to fit. Final testing of a kit made using the construction jigs is underway on a 3.7 Roadster, the most powerful car available for testing. I understand that Williams will be one of the approved dealers.

I found the Panhard Rod was necessary on the 4 seater as the rear tyres were leaving swirls on the inner wings when cornering hard. The 4 seater has got more hanging out the back with probably higher side load on the axle especially with people in the back. The Panhard rod tightened up the handling and stopped scaring the rear passengers.

Peter, Do I understand from your post that the new rear suspension being developed by Suplex will be fully coil thus doing away with the leaf springs? John

Correct. Coils can be quickly made in different spring rates, are made from very high quality special steel, can be easily replaced when needed, but most importantly do not have the stiction between the leaves that a leaf spring has. This means that the ride is more supple and the damping can be fully controlled by the dampers.

Not sure Peter's answered your question, the new suspension for rear is trailing arms attached to axle with coil over shockers each side and with either a Watts linkage or panhard rod for side ways damping
