Not sure Peter's answered your question, the new suspension for rear is trailing arms attached to axle with coil over shockers each side and with either a Watts linkage or panhard rod for side ways damping Yes Peter answered my question fine. I understand the need for trailing arms or Watts linkage with coils having had cars with this set up in the past but thanks for clarifying.

Ah! Yes, I did not clarify that. If I understand correctly it is what is known as a multi link system and uses a Panhard rod. The original plan was to use a Watt's linkage but there is simply not enough space behind the diff and, with the limited travel of the Morgan suspension, a Panhard will do the job. My wife's little Subaru, with much greater travel, uses a Panhard rod. All will be revealed when PJB and Suplex are ready to release the kit PS. I should mention that this kit is designed for road and fast road driving. If you want something for fast road and race, or strictly track use, better to talk to Lawrie at Williams and to get him to show you just what they can do. And watch out for those pesky Spaniels

Thanks Peter
My car is 2014 so technically should be fine "but they are all different sir!"
I look forward to a cost effective solution

"I look forward to a cost effective solution"
Whilst I know it will work, I'm not sure that the Suplex arrangement will be "cost effective" Donald. At least, not in the way I would interpret that phrase.
By the time the Mog is sorted properly, it makes an already expensive car, very expensive! But, hey, what else would we all rather be spending our money on?

If you go Suplex up front, brake reaction bears, pan hard rod, and tuned rear shocks to match then parts will be around £1300. If you go new front springs to suit your ride desire, under spring bearings and Avo's all round' brake reaction bars and pan hard rod then your probably looking at around £800. This option will give a more traditional feel.
Labour should be around 6-8 hours I would suspect. So need to add £360-480 plus vat I would think.
Not cheap but worth while, by the if you are doing this pay the extra and replace that king pins with hard chrome ones and the better bronze bushes this will add around £200. Labour should be the same as it all has to come apart anyway.

Nice summary.
Looking for another Morgan!

Just don't expect the Suplex suspension to make a huge difference. On reflection on my Roadster I wish I hadn't bothered.

I wish I could find two people to agree on the best spring / shock combination.
My 4/4 grounds a bit at the rear. Agree, my +4 bottoms out at the front, back is fine, but I can't seem to get consensus of best remedy.

Just don't expect the Suplex suspension to make a huge difference. On reflection on my Roadster I wish I hadn't bothered. Other opinions are also available I think it depends on the starting point of the car and the kind of driving one does. On my 1986 car with 140lb springs, the transformation was huge, I went from a front that was tooth-rattlingly hard, skittish, and totally unsuited to my driving preferences (twisty British B roads, which tend not to be surfaced that well) to a setup that was nicely compliant and gave a comfortable but controlled ride at my preferred driving speeds (50 to 70mph) on said B roads. If I had a more modern car with better stock suspension, or if my driving was more on smooth 'A' roads or racetracks, then I guess the improvement would be a deal less apparent. On Motorways, dual carriageways, and similar major roads of course, there's no measurable improvement. A stock car performs perfectly well on these surfaces and the Suplex system brings no benefit.

My 4/4 grounds a bit at the rear. Did your 3 Wheeler ground when you drove it up my drive, Donald? The only time mine did was when the man who bought it, a big chap, was in the passenger seat when we went for a test drive. You were with Giulietta (who is not heavy) but also you had quite a lot of luggage (about as much, I should think, as it is possible to take on board an M3W). Your all-up weight must have exceeded that of me, my buyer and my M3W without luggage, so I bet that the back of your M3W grounded at least once.
