any ideas for cup holder in a m3w. i enjoy my coffee Hi Vegas3wheeler Im struggling with the concept. There is a slight possibility it's not the car for you. I would be very surprised if anyone in the UK has thought "hmmm, you know what this car needs? A cup holder.." But I may be wrong. If it can be done, someone on here will know.. In defense of Vegas - Europeans typically have no concept of the long, flat roads here in the U.S. Not to mention places in the West that are 100's of miles between stops. We take a bottle of water with us on most drives. I suspect most on here do actually own a passport and have been to the U.S. They will have have spotted the difference. However, what this European M3W owner is having difficulty with is a large vibrating and shaking cup of scalding coffee in a car that needs 100% driver involvement. Cup holders are usually reserved for nondescript beige cars in which the actual journey is something to be endured not savoured. It is one of the endless list of things the Morgan doesn't have and the factory never thought to fit.

Now you're just exaggerating. Any good coffee shop will ensure the temperature is just right to sip right away and if it is a take away or "take out" they will supply a non spill lid, this will at least minimise any pain if spilled.

Now you're just exaggerating. Any good coffee shop will ensure the temperature is just right to sip right away and if it is a take away or "take out" they will supply a non spill lid, this will at least minimise any pain if spilled. I know, you've told me a million times not to exaggerate, sorry. Edit: "a large vibrating and shaking cup of luke warm coffee"

Ditto on all of the above. I have taken a water bottle with a very simple cap that only required one hand and it was almost worth my life using it! This car demands attention and does not forgive the lack of same. The simple act of being a sightseer while driving with BOTH hands has damn near killed me as it is!
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

It would be feasible to rig up a beverage tank,with plastic tube dispenser, and even pressurise from the spare - with a regulator. Heat sink would keep the contents warm. I'll get right on it.
