With my car halfway to NZ I finally got some pictures of it at the factory.
However my email explains (Names removed)

Good Morning Gentleman
MC... has been kind enough to send me some pictures of my car currently in transit to me in NZ. I have been requesting numerous times information from the factory re it’s status and in particular things like the colour of the boot straps and tonneau.
I have seen an email via G... where ML.... told MC.... to ignore my pleadings. This is most unfortunate because the car you have sent is not what I ordered.
This would have been avoided if you had only provided me with information and photo’s prior to shipping. I am most disappointed in Morgan and F....... This is not a cheap car and you promote yourself as bestoke builders, yet you are quite happy to ignore the customer, make decisions without consulting and shut him out of the process.
I have attached my initial order and F's.... account to me.
It appears that the front cowl has been painted body colour, not silver as ordered. It appears my instruction confirmed in writing by G.... that the Pin-Up girl be placed where the Shark’s Gills would normally be has been ignored It appears I have been charged $295 pound for a build record book instead of the order form price (still current) of $175 I have been charged penalties for order changes where those order changes may have been ignored.
G.... if you are still in the UK I strongly suggest you bring back a pin-up girl graphic to be applied in the correct place when you get back or have it priority shipped to AR.... for when the car arrives there
I will reluctantly accept the wrong coloured cowl as this would be a major to rectify from NZ. It’s not what I wanted. In fact I have ordered and received from the accessory shop, 2 very expensive Davida helmets painted silver for the sole reason that they matched the front cowl
I don’t know what tonneau you have send with the car or if you got the boot straps replaced with black but G.... has assured me he will deal with that. I’ll take his word for it with some trepidation.
I’m attaching copies of the pictures and order forms/invoices.
I know I'm being petty but ordering a new Morgan is a big thing for me. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I like things "just right". I've seen a level of detail from passionate owners here that inspires me to want to create something unique and "me". Apart from the helmets I even went as far as to source a matching swimsuits for my wife to match the Pin-up girl graphic (Not for driving in the car) She got a kick out of it and thought it a nice touch. But it's wrong, nose art goes on the nose. I've never seen a Pin-Up girl on a plane's butt :-) I'd rather not have it at all then have it there.
I fill your pain mate my OCD sent a £70-000 AMG back as it was wrong no sun roof got money back and Mercedes will never get any money again of me ,I hope your dealership give you something for the sleepless nights But you no you will love it ,have fun and smile lots Scott
Fully understand you want what you ordered and feel hacked off by what is obviously a communication breakdown.
i must say i much prefer the painted cowl - although its not me paying for the car. i get that.
But it looks fantastic......
The decals can easily be sorted. to be fair the cowl could always be removed and painted silver at a later date in a bodyshop and shouldn't cost that much to do really. If you really dont like the cowl that is an option later on.
Either way try not to let it spoil the experiance. Its a stunning car.

Agreed - beautiful car. My car wasn't exactly as expected either (interior darker tan than expected, bullet hole placement not as expected, stripe wider than expected), but now that I have it, I actually like it better with the differences than what I originally requested.
If it's anything like my experience, the issues won't bother you once you see it in person.
