Thanks for the link Philip. Interesting but not for me. Far too much bling and top end on price. A missed opportunity to offer a standard Plus 4 with that engine and rear suspension. Very disappointing in fact. So it's a from Ziggy then! But the plan is still afoot to change to something organge maybe, Dave? There's quite a lot of things I do like about it but I'm not in the market to change so not a problem for me. However, as others have asked and said - Will it sell? Of course it will, and I very much hope it does as it will all help MMC's future.

Looks better in the 'flesh' as per the photograph but again there's to much bling for my liking. I really don't see the point in tarting up the traditional Morgan look. With what's underneath it doesn't need it!

Hugely disappointing Roger. I've never been closer to ordering a new one than this morning.Had it been a conventional looking Plus 4 and closer to £50k I would have been working on MrsW. But this has far too much I don't like. And no spare and not even wires. And those black surrounds, with the red braces treatment. Nooooo. So I've no reason to change this year . We'll see what next year brings. They might see sense and buy a few more engines for us with conservative taste.

Perhaps now the donkey work has been done with the Cosworth engine etc I wonder if there is a possibility in the future to spec up a Plus 4 as part of the AR upgrade treatment when buying a new car? MMC ight want to wait until the series is sold through but just as M3Ws can be upgraded maybe this is a way forward.

I like it. But then I am new to Morgans I'd be very interested in evaluating the new rear suspension and extra leg room that it gives! I can always dream I suppose!

If I ever ordered a new car it would be a joy to spec it just for me!

Yes, it's blingy, and expensive, but that bling can be changed, easy, swap the LED lights for piss poor standard units, though not much can be done about the price, but, bearing in mind that the cost of a car is what you lose when it gets sold, not what it cost new, then maybe it won't be so expensive after all. Look how Baby Dolls are retaining their price and are quite sought after [aren't they?].
I like the fact that 50 years after everyone else, they are having a dabble with a better located rear axle and discs on the back, what a revelation. I note too, that they are using brake steady bars on the front as part of the standard spec.
I'm not sure I like the bare aluminium panels on the inside of the doors, but again, these can easily be covered at little extra expense.
One big disappointment for me, on a true performance car, is that they haven't moved the rev. counter, which is redlined to 8000 btw, to directly in front of the driver. It is in the standard current Plus 4 position and partially covered by the left hand, great in a left hand drive car though.
What were they thinking about with that awful dome over the spare wheel well?

Am surprised the production run was not 65 cars ...seems more logical to me somehow?

The dome harks back to racing Morgan's from the past....according to the MMC press release.
I do not like it!
