Am disappointed for you .
To order this car from the UK is big enough deal as it is ....but for it to be wrong is not at all acceptable.
For what it's worth I do think the car looks stunning.
Love the body colour ( it would be on my short list if I ordered one).
The decals can hopefully be put right quite easily ....and the cowl too.
I quite like the body colour cowl.
Please try not to let these things spoil the car for you.
I do so hope that when u get her you will be delighted .
Given the fixes needed.
Neil

I have to agree with numog and andymot, it does look fantastic. The painted cowl isn't something I thought to order ( the car is expensive enough ) but it looks brilliant. The decals are easy to fix so don't be too disappointed.

I really empathise with you here. Buying a Morgan was, for us, such a personal thing & almost a dream come true. I think if the final product is different to your ordered spec, it must be so disappointing especially given the distance from manufacture to delivery.
The damage has now been done, though. Your wish has been tarnished & it's going to take some recompense to put things right.
From here it's all about damage limitation. Do you completely reject the car & obtain a refund, do you rectify the shortcomings and invoice Morgan or suck it up and just sort your brand new, very expensive car yourself..?
I feel for you, but as others have said, the car WILL be worth it in the end whichever way you go. It just sours the enjoyment at the moment.
Good luck
Steve

You paid. You should get what you want.
However I think it looks stunning. +1 It is a bit slapdash if they cannot follow a build order. Again ! They should paint the cowl, the decals can just be moved. Shame ... Hope all gets sorted ...

Get them to send you a silver cowl, its only a nut and blot job to swap.
Mine came with an intercom system that I didn't order but got charged for and have never used.

Philip, I really like your car. I hate to say this but you may be lucky that's all they screwed up. I think the problems are just "normal" for Morgan. Why in the world any of us put up with this---sigh. I will say, that I've had my M3W (2012) for 2 years and even with all the problems I can't make up enough reasons to drive it. Once you get it, get into it, YOUR M3W will be just the greatest fun for you. Cheers

I can understand why you're disappointed, but can I just say the green and red look superb! I think the green cowl works. How did you choose the green? Is it a standard colour or did you sort of find it yourself?

"I think the green cowl works."
Am I going colour blind? It looks all black to me.
As an aside, I think we all feel for you Philip, but as has been said, what you have ended up with, whilst disappointing not to be 'your' spec. does look great, I would even say 'stunning' but I notice it is a very overused word in Morgan land.
I hope it all works out for you.

Philip as others have said I can understand your disappointment at this stage but I am sure it can be put right.
It does look really dtunning though. I think when you get in and drive it it will go out of your Ming and the famous Morgan grin will appear.

As Dab of oppo says, it is not a big deal to change the cowl and PinUp girl on your new car (beside, it really looks great) Under this circunstance it isn't a big deal to for Morgan to, to send you the polished cowl and a new sticker knowing the glitch is on there side... hope you can enjoy your new car,...it worth it
Cheers, Georges
