Stewart,

I totally understand.

I have begun to avoid driving the BMW 3201 Estate, the driving position is infinitrly adjustable, but I cannot find one that allows me to spend more than a couple of hours in the seat without pain in my right leg. So it has to go, but I'm trapped by the negative equity in the pcp.

It seems that I have no option but to wait anther 11 months, then hand it back to BMW. To part exchange it now I'd have to put £4500 in to clear the difference between market value and price to clear the finance.

When the Plus 8 came out in 2013 Morgan announced a bespke hard top. I wonder if they ever made it. Anyone know?
If available I could get one, fit it for the winter and use the Mog for everything.

I would not like to do 800km a day in a Morgan while it was no problem yesterday in the tintop with aircondition and state of the art technology. The trip was rather boring, but driving was very relaxed even above 100mph...
Business trips in a business car and fun trips in a Mog! I will keep it that way.

That makes two of us Peter, only mine is my left leg, in pain from back muscles trapping my sciatic nerve from damage done while lifting the leather Morgan suitcase full of clothes after a weekend away in Whitby (and not warming up properly before playing tennis)

Only problem is my existing tin top is manual so when I get out of the car I can hardly walk

I've ordered my new tin top as an auto but hopefully with some physio I can get this sorted

I have just changed my Mazda 2 Diesel for a basic Petrol model it's only a 1.3 and has ABS and air con but nothing much else. It needs a lot of rev's bit like the 4/4 and is very responsive comfortable and fun to drive!

Stewart, i totally am with you. We had to decide which new car we want to choose for the end of next year when the leasing of our current company car, a mazda cx7 diesel ends. As we had only run 50.000 kms and because i have no idea which better actual car to choose, we have decided to buy the mazda and drive it for a couple of years more. So i saved a lot of time which otherwise would be spended in visiting showrooms, making test drives, comparing offers, etc. Time that i now can spend much more enjoyable in my morgan ;-)

The end of last August I replaced a troublesome Freelander with. Merc GLA. In economy mode it is ok, the paddles are fun when engaged, in sport mode it is a very good drive but the fuel consumption drops right off. Not boring at all and when mog less until recently I used to engage sport mode and go for a blast.

I would love Jays new Porker and think the colour works but alas my other mistress a newly acquired yacht needs well I think it needs some new toys to make single handing easier!
